Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of QRCodeAPI services operated by QRCODEAPI. Registered address: Haryana, India. Violations may result in suspension or termination under our Terms & Conditions.
You must not
- Use the Service for unauthorized, stolen, fraudulent, or misrepresented QR codes, UPI merchant configurations, merchant identifiers, or credentials.
- Submit or use a QR code, merchant configuration, MID, VPA, token, or other merchant information belonging to another person or business without the necessary authorization.
- Commit or facilitate fraud, phishing, social engineering, impersonation, money-mule activity, layering, or other unlawful financial activity.
- Impersonate another business or mislead payers about the identity of the merchant or person who will receive funds.
- Attempt to use QRCodeAPI as a payment gateway, escrow service, settlement bank, payment processor, or other service that QRCodeAPI does not provide.
- Scrape, harvest, expose, sell, or exfiltrate API keys, session tokens, secrets, merchant credentials, or other users' data.
- Attack, overload, reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Service, including DDoS attacks, credential stuffing, or unauthorized security testing.
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass rate limits, billing controls, authentication, authorization, consent, logging, or audit controls.
- Process or store end-customer payment credentials such as UPI PINs, card numbers, CVV/security codes, banking passwords, or banking-app OTPs through QRCodeAPI.
- Use the Service for illegal goods, illegal services, fraud, or any activity prohibited under applicable law.
- Falsely claim partnership, sponsorship, authorization, endorsement, certification, or regulatory approval from Paytm, PhonePe, SBI, BharatPe, NPCI, RBI, or any other third party based solely on technical compatibility.
- Use the Service to conceal the identity of the actual merchant, beneficial recipient, or business operating the payment-related QR.
Reporting
Report suspected abuse, unauthorized QR use, impersonation, or security issues to [email protected]. We may investigate reports and cooperate with lawful investigations or requests from competent authorities.
